Who to ring this week
The WAPC endorsed the L877 & L878 Stakehill Rd Structure Plan (SPN/2297), about 420 homes (19 Nov 2025). The Meadow Springs zone substation (named in the plan) is over capacity in 2029 (124% of planning capacity (NCR / N-1 as applicable) in 2029 in TSP 2025; 119% in the draft TSP 2026; severe), and the landowner is not confirmed (title not checked); the planner is named in the plan, so give them a ring.

Subject: Power for the L877 & L878 Stakehill Rd Structure Plan without the Western Power wait
Hi [first name],
I saw the WAPC endorsement of the L877 & L878 Stakehill Rd Structure Plan (19 Nov 2025).
Western Power's planning data shows the Meadow Springs zone substation (named in the plan) over capacity in 2029 (124% of planning capacity in TSP 2025; 119% in the draft TSP 2026), so larger loads there are likely to need network augmentation and a long wait; whether yours does depends on its size against that spare capacity. An estate microgrid supplies the lots behind a single grid connection, with shared solar and batteries, which can cut the grid capacity a development needs and the time to energise lots.
Would 15 minutes next week be useful to compare a microgrid with your current power plan?
Kind regards,
[your name]

Constrained = Western Power NCMT remaining capacity of 20 MVA or less in 2029; severe = under 5 MVA (this tool's screening rule). Sweet spot = connection under 10 MW, load about 5 MW or less, grid draw about 4 MW or less, land developer.
